Adobe Photoshop CS6 - Leaked ?

About

While in early beta stages, Adobe appears to be working on a new, darker interface for the next version of Photoshop that resembles Pixelmator. In addition to the new appearance (which in beta stage at least, offers an option to revert to the existing platinum appearance), Photoshop will feature new 3D tools, healing brush and red-eye reduction enhancements, and a perspective cropping tool.

Complain ?

A long-time complaint about the Creative Suite upgrades is the frequency with which the upgrades arrive (every 18 months for the last dozen years or so). I don’t agree with those complaints, but Adobe is doing their best to address the situation. The entire Creative Suite is now on an annual development cycle, with major upgrades occurring in even years, and minor updates in odd years. Creative Suite 5 was a major upgrade released in 2010, and CS 5.5 (a relatively minor update) in 2011. So you can expect another major upgrade about early-to-mid 2012 if they keep with the plan.

While this new schedule is actually more frequent, there is a good reason. Adobe plans to work on major updates for every other release, and use the in between release for fixes and features that can be quickly added to address changes in technology. In addition, Adobe plans to release the upgrades and updates mid-year annually, so we can better plan our purchases.

More !

Adobe has also announced that all major languages will be released at once. This is huge for those outside of North America. In the past, various languages took weeks or even months to catch up.

IPad 3 - Release, News and Information

The iPad 3 was seen referenced by the identifier iPad 3,1 iPad 3,2 and iPad 3,3; yes that’s right – there are apparently three variations of the tablet in the pipeline.  Apple may have a few different things up their sleeves as they continue to work with prototypes; however these three monikers are likely the final ones to be rolled out since they are embedded within the iOS 5.1 beta code.

This also may be a true indication that the next refresh will indeed be named the iPad 3 rather than the iPad 2S like previous rumors suggested.  At this time the three different references are believed to be the Wi-Fi tablet, 3G, 4G, or even the possibility of getting a dual-mode iPad 3.

It Would be thicker than the IPad 2 ?
Brace yourself Apple lovers, because a new rumor has surfaced claiming that the iPad 3 will need to gain some thickness in order to accommodate that beloved Retina Display. The rumor has been traced to an insider within Apple’s supply chain who goes on to expose the reason at this time.

According to the unnamed source, the last news we published about Apple’s intentions to go with a dual light bar in order to get the brightness in check on the refreshed tablet; is the guilty party. While the iPad 3 is apparently going to gain around 0.7mm it would still be around 0.4mm thinner than the iPad. So if you didn’t upgrade to the iPad 2 and are still using your original iPad this might not be so bad of news to you anyway.

Retina Display is named so because of the correlation between pixels and detail versus what the human eye can distinguish from.  Your iPhone 4S has 326 PPI in a 3.5 inch screen running at a resolution of 960×640.

The Foxconn China-manufactured iPad 2 has a lithium-ion polymer battery that lasts up to 10 hours, a new dual core Apple A5 processor and VGA front-facing and 720p rear-facing cameras designed for FaceTime video calling.
Apple unveiled the device on March 2, 2011, began selling it by website and retail stores on March 11, and released it in 25 other countries on March 26, including Australia, Britain and Canada. Apple announced that the iPad 2 would be released in Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and other countries on April 29, 2011.

What is Android ?

ABOUT :

Android is an operating system for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. It is developed by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google.
Google purchased the initial developer of the software, Android Inc., in 2005. The unveiling of the Android distribution on November 5, 2007 was announced with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of 84 hardware, software, and telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices. Google released most of the Android code under the Apache License, a free software license. The Android Open Source Project (AOSP) is tasked with the maintenance and further development of Android.
Android consists of a kernel based on the Linux kernel, with middleware, libraries and APIs written in C and application software running on an application framework which includes Java-compatible libraries based on Apache Harmony. Android uses the Dalvik virtual machine with just-in-time compilation to run Dalvik dex-code (Dalvik Executable), which is usually translated from Java bytecode.
Android has a large community of developers writing applications ("apps") that extend the functionality of the devices. Developers write primarily in a customized version of Java. There are currently approximately 400,000 apps available for Android, from a total of 600,000 apps over the life of Android. Apps can be downloaded from third-party sites or through online stores such as Android Market, the app store run by Google.
Android was listed as the best-selling smartphone platform worldwide in Q4 2010 by Canalys with over 200 million Android devices in use by November 2011.
